YOUR TRAINING. YOUR INFORMATION.

PRIVACY, CLEARLY.

Updated October 31, 2026. This page describes the TriTrain website and the core features of the iPhone app from Ready Apps LLC.

This website

This website does not ask you to create an account or submit training information. If you joined the TriTrain waitlist before launch, your email address is stored as described under “Waitlist” below. We have not added advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Your selections in the interactive examples stay in the current page and reset when you reload.

When you visit, the hosting provider processes technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the website. Hosting logs may be retained according to the provider’s policies. The website is hosted on Vercel.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits, popular pages and referral sources. This cookie-free service processes technical request information to produce traffic statistics, including approximate country, browser and device type. Vercel uses a temporary hash to distinguish visitors and does not store raw IP addresses in analytics. We remove URL query parameters and fragments from page-view URLs before sending them. We do not send training information, Strava tokens, Firebase user IDs or form contents to website analytics. Analytics runs on the production website, not our local or preview builds. Learn more in Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation.

Waitlist

If you joined the TriTrain waitlist before launch, we store your email address and the page you signed up from in Google Firebase (Firestore) so we can email you launch updates. We do not sell your address or use it for unrelated marketing. You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time via the link in each email, or request deletion of your waitlist entry by contacting support.

Founding 50 early access

The Founding 50 was our early-access group before launch. Waitlist members were shortlisted and invited by email with a personal registration code that expires 48 hours after issue. Each code is single-use and tied to the invited email address. Joining the waitlist did not guarantee an invitation. The app is now available to everyone on the App Store.

Information in the iPhone app

You can enter profile information, race goals, availability, training experience, optional body measurements and workout logs. The core app stores these on your device and uses them to build and adjust your training plan. The app creates an anonymous Firebase Authentication account automatically, without requesting an email address, password or phone number.

The local training file is excluded from automatic device backup. Exports you explicitly choose to create can contain training and imported health information; protect those files and choose their destination carefully.

Anonymous Firebase account

Firebase Authentication, provided by Google, creates a unique user ID and processes authentication information and technical request data, such as IP addresses, to operate and protect sign-in. The SDK may also process diagnostic information as described in its privacy disclosures. Anonymous means no sign-in details are requested; it does not mean no identifier is created.

The app retains its authentication session securely on the device. Your workout logs, body measurements and training profile are not uploaded to Firebase by this authentication feature, and it does not provide cloud backup or sync. Anonymous access has no email-based recovery or cross-device sign-in.

You can delete the Firebase user and local training data under Today → Training settings → Account. The app requires connectivity to delete the remote account and does not create a replacement until you choose to start again. Uninstalling alone does not request deletion of the Firebase account; exports and device backups are managed separately.

Apple Health

Apple Health is an optional, read-only workout connection. With your permission, TriTrain reads workouts from the last 112 days and available workout distance, heart rate and running or cycling power. It uses this information on your device for training history, progress reports and plan adjustments. We do not write data to Apple Health, request sleep data in this version, or send HealthKit data to our website analytics, Strava, Firebase servers or an AI model. HealthKit data is not used for advertising or sold.

You choose data permissions in Apple Health. Sync runs when you open or return to TriTrain. Missing data can mean it was not recorded or not shared; the app cannot determine whether a read permission was denied. Potential duplicates are linked or held for your review. You can stop automatic import in Connected apps and revoke access in Apple Health. Stopping import retains saved workouts; deleting local training data removes the saved copies. Explicit training exports can include those copies. Permission changes or an empty query do not automatically erase training history.

Optional recovery context

You can separately enable sleep and resting heart rate from Apple Health. TriTrain reads recent records to show sleep duration and personal baseline comparisons in Today’s check-in. These readings stay in memory on your phone, are not included in training exports, and are not uploaded. They do not automatically change your plan. Missing data stays unknown. You can stop reading recovery data in Connected apps, which clears the displayed readings, or revoke access in Apple Health.

Connected services

Strava is optional and is being tested for an updated iPhone build. When you choose Connect with Strava, you authorize read-only activity access through Strava. The connection service in Google Firebase processes your Strava athlete ID and display name, links the connection to your anonymous Firebase user ID, and stores encrypted access and refresh tokens. Short-lived authorization records and connection credentials are stored in server-only Firestore collections. Connection sessions expire after 90 days; expired records are removed automatically. Authorization records expire within ten minutes and handoff tickets within two minutes.

The service retrieves activity summaries from the last 90 days, including activity name, type, date, duration, distance and available average heart rate, cycling power and elevation gain. These summaries pass through the server to your phone; the service does not maintain a workout-history cache or fetch GPS routes. You choose new activities to import. Your next manual sync refreshes existing imports and removes activities no longer returned. This information supports local training-plan adjustments and is not sent to an AI model.

Strava webhooks notify the service about changes and revoked access. Revocation removes server connection credentials; the app removes imported data when it next checks the connection while online. Disconnecting in Integrations revokes access and removes imported workouts while preserving manually entered workouts. Deleting your TriTrain account disconnects Strava first. Technical server logs may contain request metadata and are accessible to service administrators. Website analytics does not receive Strava activity data or connection credentials.

Your choices

You choose which optional information to enter and whether to log a workout. You can update your profile and control automatic plan adjustments in the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data; copies in device backups or exports may remain until you delete them separately.

Who the app is for

TriTrain is intended for adult athletes. It provides training guidance and is not a medical service.
